  • This meal preparation can save you a lot of time as you can cook these in large batches and have them frozen.

    • Ingredients
      • 1½ cups of brown rice.
      • 2 shredded carrots
      • Olive oil
      • 3 pounds of ground turkey
      • 3 cups of chopped baby spinach
      • ½ cup of peas
      • 1 shredded zucchini
    • Preparation
      • In a large saucepan, add three cups of water followed by the brown rice.
      • Heat olive oil in another vessel over medium heat. Add the turkey into that vessel and cook until it turns brown. Make sure you crumble the turkey as it cooks.
      • Add in all the vegetables and stir for a bit.
      • Let it cool completely.

      • 15 ounces of kidney beans
      • 1½ cups of butternut squash and carrots each.
      • 1½ cups of peas.
    • Preparation:
      • Add all the ingredients in a vessel containing four cups of water.
      • Stir well after placing the vessel on a 6-qt slow cooker.
      • Cover the vessel with a lid and cook on low heat for about 6 hours or high heat for 3 hours.
      • Allow it to cool completely before serving to your dog.

Meatballs

    • Ingredients:
      • 10 pounds of ground beef
      • 2 cups of oats
      • 3 cans of pumpkin puree
      • 4 boiled and mashed carrots.
      • Kale leaves chopped finely.
      • 3 slices of bread
      • 4 eggs
      • Salt
      • Flour
    • Preparation:
      • Mix all these ingredients in a large bowl.
      • Form balls according to the size of your preference.
      • Coat the balls with flour and shake off the excess.
      • Bake them in a 400-degree oven until it’s done.
